One health

While the goals of One Health are to optimize the health of humans, animals, and the environment on various scales, a significant challenge lies in making this concept resonate at local levels, whether within a protected area, tiger reserve, or region. Our approach aims to address this challenge through a blend of media, communication methods, and research narratives. We focus on unraveling the intricate layers that shape cognitive processes, including the motivations that drive, guide, and sustain One Health initiatives.

At the heart of One Health is collaboration among citizens, experts, storytellers, and practitioners across diverse fields such as public health, healthcare, forestry, veterinary care, and more. Our work involves exploring these collaborations through communication related to snakes, partnering with health practitioners to delve into non-task behaviors influenced by socio-cultural and economic dynamics in northeast India.
