Primate Relationships
In an urban rural continuum, this project aims to understand everyday relations forged and disrupted by and with macaques. How do intersubjectively shared spaces linked by past, present and future, get shaped through social memory, representation and identity? How does the continuous making and unmaking of these shape human-macaque relations? How do they affect each other and others?

Through collaborative engagement and visual and art mediums, this project provides people an avenue to articulate their relationships with monkeys beyond conventional conflict narratives to create unique place-based knowledge.
